I am a transnational Korean playwright/physical theater artist, now based in the US. My work expresses the joys and agonies of the human condition, through the breathing, moving body.

My play 'Dahlia' received a staged reading at Dell'Arte International and was the finalist for the 2018 Lark's Van Lier Fellowship.  My current work-in-progress play 'The Seekers' has been developed at Fresh Ground Pepper's BRB Artist Retreat and selected for 2018-19 Bushwick Starr Reading Series. I was 2013 Works-In-Progress Artist at Red Eye Theater in Minnesota to create 'Cecilies', which was also produced at the Minnesota Fringe Festival.

With my theater collective Creative Traffic Flow, as the Artists In Residence at the Performance Project at the University Settlement, we created 'Duets of Difference.' It was We also presented it at Women Center Stage Festival (Culture Project). Commissioned by Clean Valley Council and supported by Works On Water’s Governors Island Artist Residency, we made ‘Voices from the Roanoke River.’ It was presented at Governors Island Nolan House 5B and Earth Summit 2018.

As a director, I directed Spaceheater's 'Saint Ex' for the 2018 Minnesota Fringe Festival and MR DONDICKREALIS & Munroe Lilly’s ‘Let’s Pretend We’re Married’ for 2018 New York Burlesque Festival and Beef Show at BIZARRE Bushwick. I was chosen as 2017 Pangea World Theatre and Art2Action's Emerging Artist for National Institute for Directing & Ensemble Creation. From 2014 to 2017, I have created 11 new, original works at Dell’Arte International through an ensemble-based devising process.

I am the co-creator of Three Ring Trio, a vaudevillian gender-bending trio, and we have performed at brASS: Brown RadicalAss Burlesque's Compost Bin Cabaret and Arcata Playhouse in California. I also co-created 'Becky & Leroy’s Excellent Reading Adventure', which was performed at the Eureka Library, Eureka Boys & Girls Club, Sequoia Park Zoo and more.
